This question needs us to be just as honest and clear about our own potential as budding online business owners as it does about the relative potential of our chosen business. No matter what business opportunity you have chosen to invest your time and resources, any genuine business opportunity will need YOU as the main ingredient to create what is needed for ultimate success.

That's how business works and why working for yourself in your own business is not the same as working for someone else in their business.

In considering if a business opportunity is a good fit for you and your business goals, ask yourself some questions like:

1) How much time, energy and money will you need to invest to be able to generate a return on investment that meets your needs and your goals?

2) Are you willing to give the time, energy and money required to succeed?

3) If you make the necessary investment what is the level of risk to your investment and are you willing to take that risk for your future success?

4) Does this business give you the tools, resources, training and support you need to succeed?

So don't waste your precious time and energy investing in any of the "auto-pilot"online profit machine schemes you will find as you surf the web or in your spam folder. You can generate an online income if you have the right attitude and the right tools to help you succeed. But not on auto-pilot ! It needs YOU to take the actions and drive the processes necessary for online success.

Yes of course it is important that you are in the right business opportunity to begin with otherwise you obviously have no chance to succeed. But even in the "right"business you still need to have the right attitude and the right approach to succeed. Will you do what you need to do to succeed? Will you give the time and commitment necessary to learn about your business? Are you willing to give in order to get? Only YOU can truly know the answer to these questions.

This is why as discussed in a previous post Duplication is such a critical element in the SFI business opportunity. SFI is designed to enable any affiliate with the right attitude and approach to learn how to replicate and duplicate the required steps for success. That is how it works. You're earning potential with SFI is determined by how well you can learn and apply the same rules of success that others have used to succeed. What determines an affiliates success is their attitude and approach to their business opportunity.

SFI's most important tool to use in building a successful business is YOU ... everything starts with YOU in any business let alone in a multi-level and affiliate marketing business like SFI.

It is your knowledge, skill, attitude and persistence that will determine how successful your SFI business will be in the future. You can only succeed in SFI by helping others succeed first and you will need to develop all these qualities if you wish to be a successful team leader and SFI business owner.

You cannot teach what you don't know yourself, and you cannot motivate others to do what you're not willing to do youself. You need to learn how to use all the SFI tools available to you for free by logging in daily, and working hard to learn something new each day to help develop the knowledge and skills you need in order to help your affiliates duplicate your efforst to make your business grow.

It's as hard and as simple as that in my experience.

The most important element in motivating your downline affiliates to participate in whatever contest your offering, is to make sure you promote the benefits to them in participating rather than just the process to participate in your contest.

To focus on the why rather than just the how!

For example, don't just tell your affiliates that you will give them a certain amount of TCredits, or shares in your advertising co-operative or whatever the contest prize is going to be. But actually explain what the benefit of these prizes will be to them if they participate. What they could do with the TCredits or new sign-ups in building their SFI business.

All your actions need to focus on how to best support your downline team members. When they have confidence in your motivations they are much more likely to get motivated. If you focus on helping your downline to build their business successfully then you will have a successful business and a successful contest.

You just keep promoting, supporting, motivating and helping all your team members. There is no need to worry about needing to give up on people in my view. Let them do that if that is their choice. Just focus on not giving up yourself, model this to those around you, and is in life itself, your SFI business will succeed. Success then becomes only a question of when and not if. "
